I am a mom of two (three including my dog), a wife and a fierce lover of Real Estate. I became a licensed Realtor in 2007 upon the suggestion of my mom Ann McCracken, she made the switch from co-owning a home inspection company with my father for 15 years to becoming a Realtor just 6 years before I got into the business. I am grateful to her for thinking that being a Realtor would be just the right fit for me and for encouraging me to enrol in the introductory course. That course sparked a real passion in me and set me on an amazing path when I was aimless.

I got into real estate during one of the craziest markets that Alberta has ever seen. Thankfully my mom took me under her wing making me her licensed assistant during the Summers when I was off from University. I was fortunate to benefit from shadowing her and having her pass on her wisdom.

I studied at the Haskayne School of Business at the U of C and earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing in 2009. I made the leap from part time licensed assistant to a full time Realtor right after that. I got into the business quite young and felt I needed to establish myself in the Real Estate world by doing tons of research and enrolling in several education courses. I earned the designation of Certified Condominium Specialist shortly after going full time. I then decided to complete my Broker’s licensing requirements in 2011 (the highest level of education in the Real Estate industry) to further solidify myself within the industry.

I switched over to CIR Realty in 2016 after working at my previous real estate company for 9 years. That switch was a great choice as it has offered both me and my clients exceptional support and fantastic marketing avenues.

I volunteer whenever possible for shelter related and donate to those and other great causes, two of which are the Ronald McDonald House and AARC’s - each are near and dear to me as they represent people and animals who live in our homes.

Real Estate runs in my blood. Negotiating has always felt second nature to me and it’s one of my favourite parts of my job. I was lucky to learn the art of home “match making” from my mom after working together with her for 15 years. I am grateful to my parents for sharing their knowledge and even involving me in their numerous house flips and home renovations. I was fortunate to attend inspections alongside my dad in the early years of my career as well.

I love making personal connections and forming great relationships with my clients. I joke that I am an unlicensed therapist because I tell my clients that they can confide in me with anything and everything they are feeling. Not all transactions are smooth and sometimes venting becomes necessary. I am here for my clients and will always help them navigate any and all situations we find ourselves in throughout the process.
